DIRECTIONS:
FOR WATER SYSTEM WINTER LAY-UP

Drain the entire water system as thoroughly as possible. Open all hot and cold water faucets and other outlets. Blow out as much water as possible with air pressure.
Drain the hot water tank and leave the petcock open. Bypass the hot water tank by disconnecting the inlet and outlet lines and connecting them together using hose clamps.
Add antifreeze to the potable water system.
Pressurize the system using a pump or demand pump.
Starting with the furthest faucet, open each faucet and allow antifreeze to flow until colored liquid appears, then close the faucet.
Repeat step 5 for each fresh water outlet.
Flush toilets several times to ensure complete drainage.
Recirculate the pump several times to ensure sufficient antifreeze is present in the entire system.
SPRING START-UP:
Flush the entire system thoroughly with fresh water for 15-20 minutes until all antifreeze is removed and water runs clear. Dispose of used antifreeze according to government regulations.
