DIRECTIONS: READ AND FOLLOW CAREFULLY
FOR WATER SYSTEM WINTER LAY UP:
1. Drain water tank and as much water as possible. Open hot and cold water faucets as well as all other outlets. Blow out as much water as possible with air pressure.
2. Drain water heater tank, bypass water heater after draining. By-pass hot water tank by disconnecting the inlet and outlet lines and connect them together with fittings or hose and hose clamps.
3. Attach water pump inlet line to Star brite® antifreeze.
4. Turn on water pump and open each faucet one at a time.
5. Antifreeze flow from each outlet should appear, then close faucet.
6. Add antifreeze to toilet and other drains.
7. Open each low point drain to ensure thorough drainage.
8. NOTE: Never pour unused antifreeze back into container.
9. After the entire water system is filled, open each faucet to be sure there is sufficient antifreeze protecting the entire system.
10. Before using system again, flush entire water system thoroughly with fresh water for 15-20 minutes until all of the antifreeze is removed from the system and water is crystal clear.
