1. The Star brite Marine Winterizing Kit comes with a 5-gallon tank, gate valve/cap, and clear hose. You will need ear muffs or a flushing attachment for your engine type.
2. Check your engine manual for coolant capacity. Fill the 5-gallon tank with the appropriate amount of Star brite Winterizing Antifreeze.
3. Attach the clear hose to the gate valve and tighten securely. Place the tank on a stable surface.
4. Connect the garden hose to the flushing attachment or ear muffs and place it on the engine. Turn on the water supply and start the engine to circulate the antifreeze.
5. Run the engine until antifreeze flows out of the exhaust or outlet. Shut off the engine, close the gate valve, and remove the hose from the engine.
