DIRECTIONS:

DRAIN: Lower unit should be in the down position. Remove the lower drain plug, then remove the upper vent plug and drain the fluid.

FILL: Refer to the O.E. Service Manual for correct flushing and filling procedures. These general instructions are provided for guidance:

Thread the fitting into the lower drain hole.
Pump fluid until it flows from the upper vent hole.
Replace the top vent plug, remove the filler fitting, and quickly replace the plug.
Additional Information:

The metal threaded fitting (3/8-16) fits Mercruiser®, OMC®, Evinrude®, Johnson®, Honda® (70 hp & up), Volvo®, Force®, Mercury® (US origin models), and Gamefisher® lower units. Refer to the owner's manual to confirm the exact size needed.
The included 8mm adapter is for Yamaha®, Tohatsu®, Mercury® (Japanese origin models), Nissan®, and Honda® (2-50 hp) lower units. For Suzuki® lower units, use Star brite® 10mm Part #28402 Adapter (not included).
Thread sizes vary by model and year. Check with your engine manufacturer for the specific fitting thread size.
