DIRECTIONS: READ AND FOLLOW CAREFULLY
FOR WATER SYSTEM WINTER LAY UP:
1. Drain water tank as thoroughly as possible. Open the hot and cold water faucets as well as all other outlets. Blow out as much water as possible with air pressure.
2. Drain water heater tank, bypass water heater after draining. By-pass hot water tank by disconnecting the inlet and outlet lines and connect them together with fittings or a hose and hose clamps.
3. Attach water pump inlet line to Star brite® antifreeze.
4. Turn on water pump and open each faucet one at a time.
5. Antifreeze flow from each outlet should appear, then close faucet.
6. Repeat steps 4 & 5 on each low point drain.
7. Add antifreeze to toilet and other drains.
8. Holding tanks must be thoroughly cleaned.
9. Activate the entire water system lines to ensure there is sufficient antifreeze in the system.
THEN IN SPRING: Flush the entire system thoroughly with fresh water for 15-20 minutes or until the antifreeze is removed from the system and water runs clear.
