DIRECTIONS: FOR WATER SYSTEM WINTER LAY UP
1. Drain entire water system as thoroughly as possible. Open the hot and cold water faucets as well as all other outlets. Blow out as much water as possible with air pressure.
2. Drain hot water tank – leave water heater tank bypass after draining. Bypass hot water tank by disconnecting the inlet and outlet lines and connect them together with fittings or hose and hose clamps.
3. Attach water pump inlet line to Star brite® antifreeze.
4. Start the water pump and open each faucet one at a time until colored antifreeze flows from the outlet. Then close the faucet.
5. Repeat step 4 for each low point drain.
6. Add antifreeze to toilet and drains.
7. Flush toilet several times to ensure complete drainage. NOTE: Make sure holding tank is thoroughly cleaned.
8. Activate the pump to cycle several times to be sure there is sufficient antifreeze to protect the water system.

THEN IN SPRING: Flush the entire system thoroughly with fresh water for 15-20 minutes until all colored antifreeze is removed. Use Star brite AQUA Water Tank & System Flush to clean the system for potable water use.
